My son bought a used 2004 Ford F150 Pickup, and after a couple of thousand miles the transmission wasn't shifting right, so I went to Auto Excellence and paid almost $400 to flush the transmission at their suggestion and it did nothing, and they told me it would be a week or 2 until their transmission person could look at it. I was referred to Placerville Transmission and they started working on it the next day. They gave me a written bid and they did the work to the penny of the bid, and the transmission runs like new or better with a warranty. I would recommend this company to anyone. Great service great work and great people to work with.

I have taken 4 vehicles to Adolf and all have been repaired and returned on time without any issues after. I even had a car that appeared to be having tranny trouble but turned out to be the mass air flow sensor was dirty. Adolf drove the car and fixed this for a minimal fee. I also wanted to express to all those out there who want their tranny flushed and see those "specials" for this. I learned the hard way they don't flush the torque converter, where a great deal of the old fluid will be just to contaminate the new oil, and they often don't even change the filter! I was shocked! Here's the real kicker if you take your vehicle to Adolf his pricing beats their "special" price and you get 100% synthetic!

I took my sons 1996 Chevy Lumina here after coming from Cottman trasmission in Placerville which told me the transmission needed to be rebuilt. The owner of Placerville transmission thought a good flush and new filter might solve the problem. It did, $180 vs $2800 from Cottman. I would recomend Placerville transmission very highly.
